Indoor arena hire (clinic)

Cancellation Policy

1. Every participant MUST sign a risk waiver before riding. It is the responsibility of the clinic organiser to ensure that this happens. Waivers are located on the desk at the Southern end of the arena. 2. An Australian safety standards approved riding helmet and closed toe shoes must be worn at all times while mounted. 3. The cost to hire the arena is $300/day including lights. This includes the hours of 8am-6pm unless alternative hours have been agreed. 4. Hire of the indoor arena includes use of the indoor arena, cross ties, indoor and outdoor wash bay, float parking area, kitchen and bathroom facilities during the above hours. Day yards are available at $10/day per yard, please message Edwina on 0499 786 003 to book. Stables are not available for hire. 5. A $100 deposit is required to secure the date and must be paid within 1 week to secure the date. The deposit is not refundable but is transferable to another date if 30 days’ notice of cancellation is given. If less than 30 days’ notice is given, the deposit may be forfeited if we are unable to secure another booking. The remaining $200 must be paid on or before the date of the booking. 7. All instructors teaching on the property or organisations running training days must have their own liability insurance. 8. The facilities must be left clean and tidy or a cleaning fee of $100 will apply. This includes: a. Kitchen area clean and tidy if used b. All manure to be removed from the arena, cross ties, car park and walkways c. Sweeping of any hay where horses have been tied up in the indoor d. Cleaning manure and hay from day yards if used 9. Horses must be restrained at all times and may not be loose in the arena. Exceptions may be made for liberty clinics or foal/stallion assessments however this must be discussed in advance. 10. A maximum of 8 horses are permitted in the arena at any one time 11. Light lunging and groundwork is permitted in the indoor arena however horses must not be lunged continually in the same place. 12. Children under 12 years of age must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult when on the property whether they are riding or not. 13. There is no smoking permitted anywhere on the property. 14. Dogs must always remain on a lead and are not permitted in the indoor arena.
